Hard to Be a God (Russian: Трудно быть богом, romanized: Trudno byt' bogom) is a 2013 Russian epic medieval science fiction film[2] directed by Aleksei German who co-wrote the screenplay with Svetlana Karmalita. It was his last film and it is based on the 1964 novel of the same name by Arkady and Boris Strugatsky.
be warned its on the realm of disgusting and brutality and grossness is all up in there so be warey of the film.... its alternative time but for some reason ressonanted with now if that makes sense.
Yeh I have a sensitive disposition even though I can handle a fair bit having lived on farms and working in brutal environments of australia I always feel the need to posit a warning in this day and age where most of social media is like a gas lighting company that loves shock and awe... which personally I think is horrific and well nature is beautiful so ... I try to posit a good balance between the two if one needs to hyper experience third party periscopic emotion then by all means watch the brutality of a piece of art or cinema but if one so chooses to just love the natural environment I am also a big promoter of smelling the flowers and talking to birds and butterflies... Both have there space but hey... I care about others perception or else I wouldnt be an artist right?
Nice reminds me of the movie Hard to be A God
The russian sci fi way ahead of its time
